1. Agreement to Terms
These Terms and Conditions constitute a legally binding agreement made between you and FactVerse ("we", "us", or "our"), concerning your access to and use of the FactVerse mobile application and related services.
By creating an account, downloading, or using FactVerse, you agree that you have read, understood, and agreed to be bound by all of these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree with all of these terms, you are expressly prohibited from using the app and must discontinue use immediately.
2. Service Description & Informational Content
FactVerse provides curated bite-sized educational facts, stories, and knowledge across diverse categories (e.g. Science, Space, History, Technology, Nature, AI, Health, Psychology, and Culture), including text-to-speech audio narration and customized feeds.
All content is provided for informational and educational entertainment purposes only. While we curate information diligently and strive for factual accuracy, FactVerse makes no representations or warranties of any kind regarding absolute precision or suitability for professional, academic, legal, or medical reliance.
3. User Accounts & Registration
To unlock personalized features such as bookmarking, customized category feeds, liking, and profile synchronization, you may register an account.
- You must provide accurate, current, and complete registration information.
- You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activities under your account.
- You must notify us immediately if you suspect unauthorized access or any security breach of your account.
4. FactVerse Pro Subscriptions & Billing
A. Premium Access & Billing
FactVerse offers auto-renewing subscription plans (FactVerse Pro) that unlock exclusive Pro categories, premium insights, and an ad-free experience. Payments are charged directly to your Google Play account upon purchase confirmation.
B. Auto-Renewal & Cancellation
Subscriptions automatically renew unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing cycle. You can manage or cancel your subscription at any time in your Google Play Account Settings (Google Play Subscriptions).
C. Refunds
All billing, cancellations, and refund requests are governed directly by Google (Google Play Store) in accordance with their respective terms of service and refund policies.
5. Advertisements on Free Tier
Users on the free tier may be shown third-party interstitial and banner advertisements powered by Google AdMob. Upgrading to FactVerse Pro provides a completely ad-free reading experience.
6. Intellectual Property Rights
The FactVerse application, including its user interface, graphics, logo, source code, design, compiled database, audio assets, and trademarks, are the exclusive property of FactVerse and are protected by international copyright and intellectual property laws.
You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use FactVerse strictly for personal, non-commercial educational discovery.
7. Prohibited Activities
- Attempting to reverse engineer, decompile, or extract the source code or database of FactVerse.
- Using automated scripts, bots, scrapers, or tools to harvest facts or overload our backend API servers.
- Bypassing, disabling, or manipulating paywalls, subscription entitlements, or authentication tokens.
- Engaging in any activity that disrupts or interferes with other users' enjoyment of the application.
8. Disclaimer & Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, FactVerse and its affiliates, directors, employees, and agents will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages resulting from your use of or inability to use the service.
9. Changes to Terms & Contact
We reserve the right to modify these Terms and Conditions at any time. We will notify you of any changes by updating the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Your continued use of FactVerse after such modifications signifies your acceptance of the updated terms.
